چکیده
Abstract Background lncRNAs have important roles in regulating cancer biology. Accumulating evidence has established a link between the dysregulation of and microRNA progression. In previous studies, miR-7-5p been found to be significantly down-regulated mesenchymal-like lung cell lines directly regulated EGFR . this work, we investigated lncRNA partner progression cancer. Methods We expression after transfection with an mimics using microarray. The microarray results were validated quantitative real time-polymerase Chain Reaction (qRT-PCR). regulatory effects on its target evaluated by changes siRNAs for synthesis full-length lncRNA. effect miRNA was mimic inhibitor. role determined invasion migration assays. level normal tissue analyzed TCGA data. Results that LINC00240 downregulated line mimic. Further investigations revealed knockdown induced overexpression diminished migration. down siRNA treatment Silencing suppressed cells, whereas exerted opposite effect. lower squamous Conclusions Taken together, acted as sponge may represent potential

miR-204 suppresses non-small-cell lung carcinoma (NSCLC) invasion and migration by targeting JAK2.
Aberrant expression of microRNA is associated with the development and progression of cancers. MicroRNA-204 (miR-204) down-regulation has been previously demonstrated in non-small-cell lung carcinoma (NSCLC); however, the underlying mechanism by which miR-204 suppresses tumorigenesis in NSCLC remains elusive. In this study, miR-204 expression was found to be down-regulated, and that of Janus ki...
متن کاملInhibition of LHX2 by miR-124 suppresses cellular migration and invasion in non-small cell lung cancer
Downregulated microRNA (miR)-124 is common in numerous types of cancer, including non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC). A previous study by the authors demonstrated that LIM-homeobox domain 2 (LHX2) was upregulated and promoted cell growth in NSCLC. However, whether LHX2 affects the migratory and invasive abilities of NSCLC cells and the association of LHX2 with miR-124 remains unclear. The prese...
متن کاملmiR-769-5p suppressed cell proliferation, migration and invasion by targeting TGFBR1 in non-small cell lung carcinoma
MicroRNAs (miRNAs) are key regulators of multiple cancers, including non-small cell lung carcinoma (NSCLC). The aim of this study was to determine the expression pattern of miR-769-5p in NSCLC and to investigate its biological role during tumorigenesis. We showed that miR-769-5p was significantly downregulated and predicted poor prognosis in NSCLC compared with corresponding normal tissues. We ...
متن کاملLncRNA MEG3 enhances cisplatin sensitivity in non-small cell lung cancer by regulating miR-21-5p/SOX7 axis
Background Long noncoding RNAs (lncRNAs) have been revealed to play essential role in drug resistance of multiple cancers. LncRNA MEG3 was previously reported to be associated with cisplatin (DDP) resistance in non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC) cells. However, the molecular mechanism of MEG3 affecting DDP resistance in NSCLC remains to be further illustrated. In this study, we attempted to dis...
متن کاملmiR-455-5p promotes cell growth and invasion by targeting SOCO3 in non-small cell lung cancer
Non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC) is the most common type of lung cancer. miR-455-5p has increased expression and the ability to promote tumorigenesis in certain cancers. However, the role of miR-455-5p in NSCLC has not been sufficiently investigated. SOCS3 (suppressor of cytokine signaling 3), an important tumor suppressor, is often aberrantly inactivated in various tumors, but it is currentl...
